Hard to believe that it has been 25 years since high school. It is even harder to believe that Matt is a Senior now. It seems like the last 25 years went by so quickly, I still remember so vividly my high school years. It is fun to watch Matt going through high school.
So interesting to catch up and hear every one's life stories. Some people have really struggled through some tough trials. Amazing to see people's resilience to go on and live life fully.
Denise and I had an opportunity to catch up a year ago at a wedding.
I remember my parents always saying, "Your High School years are your best years of your life." Even though there were a few down time, I think high school was amazing.
I tell always tell Matt that high school and college are an amazing time of your life.
Most of the career choices that people chose are exactly what you thought they would choose.
I remember the sleepovers at Kristy's house. She still has such great energy and fun to be around.
Even after not seeing some of these people in a few years, it is amazing to come together again and it is if no time has passed.

As we were discussing different activities that we wanted to do with our daughters this summer, a few mothers decided to get together and do a summer camp. We each chose several days in the summer to host our own Summer Camp.
CAKE DECORATING CAMP:
The girls first decorated little monsters. Thanks to Cyndi who came to help. I had underestimated the amount of frosting and colors needed. She thankfully stepped in and made frosting (lots of frosting).
The girls then began to work on their doll cakes.
It was so exciting to see how each girl designed her own doll.
The kitchen was a mess of course.
The girls were quick learners as they learned how to use all the different tips.
The girls had so much fun spending the day together.
We then had a "S'more Summer Fun" Party.
Stevie and Chelsea's friends played a big game of Sharks and Minnows.
Marky was loving the fun. He really got into chasing the kids.
Love when we get a natural smile of Marky.
We did some old fashioned Ding Dong Ditching.

Chelsea once again cut all her hair off to give to Locks for Love. She had been wanting to cut her hair for a long time, we just had to wait till it reached 10 inches. We actually cut her hair back in August. She wanted a new look for 5th grade.
It is always hard for me to watch Chelsea cut all her hair off. She did this 22 months ago. Her hair sure grows fast.
The good thing is that we can see more of her beautiful smile. . .

We spent Fourth of July night time in our neighborhood. We walked over to this lovely cul-de-sac and had an amazing time celebrating with fun families.
The posed picture with Matt before he took off in search of some "older" kids.
Stevie enjoying being part of the show.
The older boys really enjoyed lighting off the fireworks.
Then the big bucket of sparklers came out.
Sitting on the sidewalk watching all the fireworks. Loving Marky's "Crystal Light" mustache.
The kids all packed up walking down to the park to watch even bigger fireworks.
